The first IFF Kids with Sticks support packages have been sent to the winning projects. Due to the covid-19, the IFF has not yet managed to ship all equipment packages to their destinations, but hope to get all support packages delivered in the near future.
The equipment packages are currently on the way to Italy (ASD Spartak Floorball Milano), Poland (GRZEŚ Popular Sports and Athletics Club), Spain (Club Deportivo Córdoba Superglads), Serbia (Serbian Floorball Association) and Slovakia (SK Harvard Partizanske).
IFF Kids with Sticks project
The IFF Kids with Sticks is an IFF Development Project which took place for the fist time in March-April 2016 and then again in April-May 2020. Its main objective is to provide children the joy and benefit of sports and to develop floorball at the same time.
Kids with Sticks 2020
The Kids with Sticks support project was launched on April 6th to celebrate the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace. The IFF donates around 200 sticks, balls and over 10 goalie equipment sets. The IFF invited all floorball associations, clubs and other organisations to apply for the support package by May 6th 2020. A total of 55 organisations applied for the Kids with Sticks support.
