As Day 6 concluded in the Women’s World Floorball Championships in Singapore, Finland and Sweden secured their spot in the semi-finals and also in The World Games 2025 in Chengdu, China.

Finland came through Poland in the quarter-final by 11 goals to two whilst Sweden had a comfortable win over Latvia by 13 goals to three. Both teams will wait to find out there opponents today with the other quarter-finals – first up Switzerland v Slovakia and followed by Czech Republic v Denmark.

Finland and Sweden have also become the first teams to qualify for The World Games 2025 as five top European teams will qualify from the WFC 2023.

Japan and Germany will play for the 9th place in the event. Japan will be returning to Top 10 for the first time since their 8th place in the World Championships 2005.
