The Africa Floorball Cup took place over the weekend in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire in both Men’s and Women’s categories. Burkina Faso were crowned African Champions in both Men’s and Women’s categories🌍

The passion and love for floorball was on show throughout all the matches played on a smaller field and with 2×15 minute games to allow multiple matches to be played in a day.
Côte d’Ivoire, Kenya, Togo, Cameroon, Morocco and Burkina Faso were all represented at the AFC 2023 with Burkina Faso taking a clean sweep of both titles with their Men’s and Women’s teams coming out victorious.

Another successful Africa Floorball Cup is complete after an absence of 4 years when it was last hosted in 2019 in Nairobi, Kenya.

Two days of competition were preceded by a day of seminars and education courses both for coaches and referee’s in the region of Africa to further help develop the sport. 🗒️
