We are very happy to inform that EuroFloorball Challenge returns to the IFF Event Calendar, after a 4-year break.

The EuroFloorball Challenge will be played from 23rd August until 27th August 2023 at Montboucons Gymnasium in Besançon, France. After a hiatus due to the pandemic, Besançon will hosts Men’s club sides from Poland, Great Britain, Ukraine, Spain, Netherlands and France in the 2023 edition of the Men’s EuroFloorball Challenge.

The EuroFloorball Challenge (EFCh) is for teams outside of the Champions Cup and EuroFloorball Cup (EFC) and acts as a qualifying event for EFC.

Depending on the number of teams registered it can be played in several tournament tiers, ideally with 6 teams in both men and women (12 teams in total) in each tier. The winner of each EFCh tier qualifies for the next highest tier tournament in the following year. The winner of the highest EFCh tier qualifies for the EFC Final Round in the following year.
2020 EFCh was scheduled to be held in Ukraine but was cancelled due to Covid.

2021 and 2022 no interest in organisers for either event (after the pandemic) so not played.
