The 2023 China National U-Series Youth Floorball Championships (Shanghai station) were successfully held with 58 teams participating.
On May 27th to 28th, 2023 China National U-Series Youth Floorball Championships was successfully held in Shanghai. This tournament was co-hosted by Handball, Hockey, Baseball and Softball center of General Administration of Sports of China, China Middle School Students Sports Association, China Hockey Association, organised by University of Shanghai of Science and Technology, Beijing Cross-Roller Sports Culture Co., Ltd, co-organized by Shanghai Jianzhi Sports Science Co., Ltd.
Compared to the first National U-Series Youth Floorball Championships held in 2021, the participants has increase by 30%. Totally 937 players from 58 teams participated this tournament.
After 147 matches in two days competition – the following teams are the winners in their age categories:
U8: Shanghai Pinghe Bi-language School Flying Dragon Red Cloud
U10: Shanghai Experimental School Flying Eagle Team A
U12: Shanghai Pinghe Bi-language School Flying Dragon Red Gold
U15 Mixed: Shanghai Foreign Language School attached to Shanghai International Studies University
U15 Girls’: Jingwu Club
U18: Shanghai Experimental School
Mr. Yuan Yong, deputy director of China Floorball Union, said: “As the first important youth floorball tournament in 2023, this tournament has been supported by multiple parties. The success of this championship not only strengthens the communication and cooperation between the floorballers from different regions, but also provides a wide platform for participants to expose themselves.”
