For the fifth time, Floorball will be part of the United World Games, which are about to take place from 22nd to 25th June 2023 in, and around, Klagenfurt, Austria. The tournament is hosted by the local club KAC Floorball.

The United World Games is an international youth event across 12 different sports, and since 2017 Floorball is a fixed part of the event. There will be three tournaments in the categories U17, U15 and U13, playing at two venues in Villach. In 2023, there is a total of 29 participating teams from seven different countries (Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Slovenia and Slovakia). Referees were wanted!
Next to it being a highlight for many young players to collect some international experiences, KAC Floorball was looking for motivated referees who are interested to use the opportunity to level up their own skills by leading some ‘international’ games. After our joint announcement – there are no several referees going to the United World Games:

  • 4 from CZE
  • 3 from GER
  • 2 from SUI
  • 1 from Slovenia
  • plus 7 from AUT

The organisers and IFF wants to thank to everyone who was interested and got in contact with the organisers. Stay tuned for more information on United World Games 2024.
