The last spot for the Women’s World Floorball Championships 2023 in Singapore will go to either Canada or USA. The teams will meet twice at the Qualification event in Toronto, Canada on 25th—26th February.

Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during WFCQ 2023?
Team Canada has a good mix of young players and veteran players. The team players are all eager to represent their own country on their own soil. The team has been preparing for these games for a long time and is ready to make their country proud.

Team rookie or young player to look out for on your team and why?
Caelyn Parker is a young player to look out for on Team Canada. She is a rookie on the Women’s team but has made a big impact on the recent U19 team.
Who is a leader on and off the field and why?
Sara Alfheim is a leader on this team on and off the court. She mades an impact on the court and also organizing floorball in Ottawa and on the board of directors for Floorball Canada.
Most skillful player?
One of Team Canada’s most skilled players is Dana Isaacs. She receives her skill from not only practicing floorball but also playing lacrosse.

Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during WFCQ 2023?
As always at the qualifications, Team USA brings a mix of skillfull, experienced players, as well as, new players who are honing their skills in the sport of floorball. We are excited to compete with the hope of advancing to 2023 WFC in Singapore.

Team rookie or young player to look out for on your team and why?
A new player that we look forward to seeing compete is Nina Vaagen. She now lives and plays in Norway and we expect great things from her.
Who is a leader on and off the field and why?
Tiffany Gerber has been the captain for this team forever – a leader on and off the court. She is always one of the hardest working players and gives every shift her all, everytime.
Most skillful player?
Marie Häggström is our most skillful player. Her determination, focus, and experience make her a force all over the court.
Which player demonstrates #FairFloorball the best?
Jenna Hausman is a player who always acts with confidence and calmness on the court. She is not only a great player but demonstrates excellent sportsmanship. Her humble demeanor makes her popular amongst the team and player to look up to.
