The 7th edition of the Brazilian Floorball Championship will take place on October 27th, in the greater area of Campinas, 100 km away from the capital São Paulo.
This is the biggest tournament ever organised in Brazil and it proves that the sport is growing across the country. 10 teams, from 10 different organisations, spread around four states will take part in the Championship 2019.
– Floorball currently has around 4,700 recreational players in Brazil, but these numbers are expected to be significantly higher based on the results of the yearly survey, which will be released after the Championship. Teams in the Brazilian Floorball Championship are mixed, allowing both male and female players to play in the same team. The teams will try to beat Curitiba’s Hockstar, who are the reigning champions, but this will be a tough task, Mr. Adriano Serafim, the President of the Brazilian Floorball Association informs.
