The transfer window activity continues! As more transfers have been confirmed, we take a look at another group of big international moves for the 2022/23 season including the Australian Gartner brothers and rising Czech star Vanessa Rebecca Keprtova.

Men

Australian twin brothers Daniel and Tomas Gartner head back to their country of birth the Czech Republic, to compete with Czech Superliga side Sokol Kralovske Vinohrady (SKV). Both brothers have been key parts of the Australian men’s national side for several years and have represented Australia at two previous World Championships (2016 and 2018) and will represent Australia again this year at the 2022 Men’s World Championships in Switzerland after helping them qualify through the AOFC region qualifiers.

Norwegian international player Joachim Terjesen moves from his native Norway to Sweden and the Svenska Superligan for side Mullsjo. Joachim has represented Norway at under 19 and senior level with the highlight reaching 6th place at the 2020 Men’s World Championships and will look to use that experience and his talent at the highest level of Swedish club floorball competition.

Women

Czech rising star Vanessa Keprtova moves from Chodov in the Czech league to Ronnby. Vanessa made her international competitive debut at the U19 Women’s World Championships in 2021 (delayed from 2020) where she earned a bronze medal with the Czech Republic and a place on the tournament all star team as a defender. This performance helped her step up to the full Women’s national team for the 2021 Women’s World Championships where she achieved 4th with the Czech team. Still only 19 she will look to further take developments in her game in the Swedish league.

Danish international player Frida Mainz Olsson moves over to Switzerland to join Kloten Dietlikon from Swedish club Malmo. Frida performed strong at the 2021 Women’s World Championships for Denmark gaining 14 points in 7 games helping them to an 8th place finish in Uppsala and will bring that same high level to her new Swiss side.
