The Prague Games are the biggest international floorball tournament for youth players, held regularly every July in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. This year’s event took place from 13th to the 16th of July with 17 different floorball rinks in use over 4 days.

The Prague Games take place annually every July in Prague and started back in 2004 as a companion to the Czech Open tournament that occurs every August for adult sides.

The huge junior floorball event this year comprised of 301 teams from 11 different European countries taking part in 12 different playing categories from mixed under 10, Boys under 12’s to under 18’s and Girls under 12’s to under 18’s. In total more than 900 matches took place over 4 days across 17 different rinks. Local side Tatran Střešovice had 19 different teams competing in every category! The tournament was a big success and continues to grow year on year.

A Video referee system was also available for all Prague Games final games in the UNYP Arena.

Below is a breakdown of where the teams from each competition category came from.

More information on the tournament including results from all categories can be found here on the Prague Games website and pictures from the event can be found on the Prague Games Flickr here.

A big congratulations to the organisers and to all those that took part in such a big and prosperous floorball event. Looking forward to many more editions to come!
