On 25th of May this year, the women’s and men’s floorball finals took place in Utrecht, Netherlands. The home team UFC Utrecht became both men’s and women’s Dutch champion.

The men’s final was played between the Agents and UFC Utrecht so the composition of the final was same as last year. First period ended in Utrecht’s lead when Niek Hovius scored team’s first goal. Second period went to the Agents and game was 2-1 in the beginning of the third period. Then it was time for Utrecht to take the real lead. First Gatis Gailitis equalised and when Utrecht scored three more, the game was over. UFC Utrecht took their third championship in a row, final score being 5-2.

The women’s final was played between the two top ranked teams from the competition, UFC Utrecht and Hot Flames. The final was even in the start. First period ended 1-1, but Utrecht took the lead in the second period. Third period went clearly to Utrecht, when Maaike van den Berg, Loena van Rooijen and Nina van Mastrigt all scored once. UFC Utrecht defeated Hot Flames 5-1 and were crowned as champions.
