After six days played of the Men’s World Floorball Championships the total attendance record has been broken. On December 6th, with three competition days left, 106 694 spectators had already attended the WFC in Prague.
The previous total attendance record was from the Men’s WFC 2014 in Gothenburg, Sweden, with 104 445 spectators.
The WFC already broke records during the first day when 12 326 spectators watched the home team Czech Republic win against Germany 10-5. This was the new opening day match spectator record. When a total of 31 073 floorball fans attended the first day of the WFC 2018, a new opening day attendance record was also reached.
