The IFF Referee Committee has made the referee and referee coach nominations for the upcoming Men’s U19 WFC 2025 to be played in Zurich, Switzerland from the 29th of April to the 4th of May.
There are eight referee pairs from six different countries and two referee coaches from two different countries. The Head of the Referees is Mr. Tony Holmer from Sweden and the two referee coaches are Mr. Jarno Mäki from Finland, and Mr. Inge Haug from Norway.
— “The Men’s U19 WFC is a very important achievement and accomplishment for international referees on their journey as IFF referees and I think we have found a very good referee team for this tournament. A mix of experience, energy and expertise” says Mr. Carlos Lopez, the Chair of the IFF RC.
— “It will be an interesting tournament ahead of us, and in the U19 events especially the matches are really on a high level and these referees will be prepared for that”, he concludes.
