The ATC members provide a voice for the athletes and are involved in many different IFF activities, such as Game Rule changes, looking over the Competition Regulations and helping to develop new IFF Competitions. The new term for the ATC will be from April 2025 – April 2029.

The elections for female will take place during the Women’s WFCQ 2025 and for the men, the elections were held during the WFC 2024 in Malmo, Sweden. All voting will be done online.

The IFF is pleased to announce the candidates for the election of the four athletes who will form together with 4 male elected in Malmo, the new Athlete’s Commission.

Lara Heini (Switzerland)

Age: 31
Player status: Active
Re-election

“I have been playing floorball for 21 years, starting at the Swiss club Rot-Weiss-Chur before moving to the women’s team piranha chur where I played for many years. In 2018, I decided to take on a new challenge by joining the Swedish club Pixbo IBK.  Floorball has thought me values like ambition, discipline, and teamwork and being able to experience all these emotions in a team, as for example during the home world championship in 2019, is only possible in sports and it’s a privileged to be able to experience that.

I wanted to be part of the Athletes Commission to ensure that future generations can have the same incredible experiences I have had in floorball. After four years of learning the structures and being challenged by the pandemic, I am eager to continue contributing to our sport. I strongly believe that our voice can make a difference, and I am committed to making a difference for the next four years.”

Martina Falchi (Italy)

Age: 23
Player status: Active
New candidate

“I decided to apply for the athlete commission because I experience floorball at 360°. I’ve been playing for 10 years now and every year I fall more and more in love with this sport. In Italy, as floorball is not so developed, I am commited to making it known to everyone by giving lessons in schools, organizing games for children together with my father during village festivals and helping the federation in every possible way.

In addition to being a goalkeeper, I help the U15 teams in training and I have also started refereeing for 2 years now. Over the years, my involvement in floorball has always been high. This year I am going to Sweden to try floorball in it’s natural habitat. I am chearful, empathetic person with a great desire to collaborate with people who share the same passion for floorball as me”

Julija Rozite (Latvia)

Age: 23
Player status: Active
New candidate

“I’m 23 years old from Latvia, and I have been passionately playing floorball for 12 years. I began playing at the age of nine with club Rubene, where I stayed loyal for eight years. During my time with Rubene, we achieved great successes, including four Latvian Floorball League titles, and I earned the spot as one of the league’s top scorers. After finishing gymnasium, I decided to take the next step in my career and moved to Switzerland to further challenge myself. Over the past three years, I have been competing in Switzerland’s highest league.

I have also been very active in the Latvian national team, participating in three Women’s World Championships, multiple Women’s World Championship qualifications, two U19 World Championships, and the new 3vs3 World Championship, and I was honoured to lead the team as a captain in the latest of them. I am a highly competitive player, but I strongly connect with the saying, “You cannot compete with me; I want you to win too.” To me, this means the importance of working and growing together, and celebrating all the small and big wins.”

I want to be part of the IFF Athletes Commission to help grow and promote floorball. I would love to share insights from both my Latvian and Swiss playing experiences cause my mindset and opinions have changed drastically about so many things since I have seen how floorball can look and feel on different levels. Through this sport, I have traveled to many countries and participated in numerous IFF-organized events, which have been incredible experiences that I wish to build upon.”

Josefina Eiremo (Sweden)

Age: 41
Player status: Retired
Re-election

I stopped playing floorball at elite level about 7 years ago. I played 12 years with IKSU and 10 years in the national team. I have won 4 WFC gold, 4 Swedish Championship gold and 5 European Cup gold as a player.
From 2018-2023 I have been the Team Manager in the Women’s National team and fortunately won 3 WC gold! After my career, I have played with other veterans in series games and various tournaments, including the Prague masters.

I live in Umeå, in northern Sweden with my man, child and a dog. I am currently on maternity leave but otherwise I work at a preschool.

I wish to continue being a part of the ATC because it is a very fun, educational and great mission! Having a greater insight into what is happening in floorball now and in the future and being able to represent the players and express our views is very important. Together we have a strong voice and in cooperation with IFF we drive development forward.

Supasuta Thiptha (Thailand)

Age: 26
Player status: Active
New candidate

“I serve as an AOFC coordinator to ensure the stability of Floorball in Asia. I started playing Floorball at the age of 14. From the beginning, I played as a goalkeeper. I paused playing for the national team due to my studies and the fact that my hometown was far from the training location, in a dicerent province. Afterward, I sustained an injury and took a break from competitions for about 2 years, but continued training with the national team. The most recent competition I participated in was the AOFC Women’s Club held in China as the national team captain.”

From Thai Federation: Ms. Supasuta is a dedicated and passionate athlete who has contributed significantly to Floorball in Thailand. Ms. Supasuta’s leadership, integrity, and commitment to the values of fair play and sportsmanship make her an excellent candidate for the role of ATC member. We believe she brings a valuable perspective as an athlete committed to promoting
sports integrity, ensuring a fair and inclusive environment, and fostering collaboration across diverse cultures.
