The final round of the 11th Women’s U19 World Floorball Championships will be played from 8th – 12th May 2024 at the Lahti Sports & Fair Centre in Lahti, Finland. Czechia, Switzerland, Slovakia and Latvia play in Group A.
CZECHIA
Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during the U19 WFC 2024?
Our team is a mix of great players who have very good skills and also have a strong team spirit. The Czechia team will want to play active, fast and forceful floorball that will be effective and successful.

Rookie or young player to look out for on your team and why?
#25 Lucie Baldreichová – a player with a great feeling for timing and choosing the right place on the court. A great scorer, also a team player and when she has her day, she is almost unstoppable.
Who is a leader on and off the field and why?
#7 Anna Brucháčková – a fast player with a really good skills to control the ball and is great in an offensive play. She is also very experienced, she was one of the leaders of the women’s team at the WFC in Singapore.
Most skillful player?
#11 Karolína Klubalová – very universal player with good control of the ball, has a dangerous shot and is very smart. Although she is young, she is one of the most experienced players in this team. Definitely one of the team leaders.
Which player demonstrates #Fairfloorball the best and why?
#13 Sofie Gocová – is the right leader, even if she is not heard the most, she always motivates others and supports them in every situation. She is calm in the storm, respects every opponent and the team can rely on her.
SWITZERLAND
Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during the U19 WFC 2024?
We have a good and young team, and we expect to do the next step in this World Championships.

#18 Corin Haldemann is one of the youngest players in the team and she will bring a lot of power and fighting mentality.
Who is a leader on and off the field and why?
#13 Lisa von Arx played already at the last U19 WFC in Katowice and she will be the captain in Lahti. Really important on and off the field for the team and for the staff.
Most skillful player?
#82 Annika Morf is an artist on the field.

#20 Chiara Moser shows her kind personality on and off the field.
SLOVAKIA
Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during the U19 WFC 2024?
Our team is well balanced, quite a lot players have the WFC experience. In full strength we are ready to fight for semifinal game. But our main goal is the fifth place.

Friendly and floorball loving team with a lot of individually skillful players who are eager to test themselves against the best floorball teams in the world.
