The 11th Women’s U19 World Floorball Championships will take place from 8th – 12th May, 2024 in Lahti, Finland.
Denmark, Hungary, Italy and Canada will play in Group D.

Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during the U19 WFC 2024?
A strong and social team filled with lots of qualities, We are participating in the U19 WFC 2024 to win our group and finish as high as possible.

#9 Emilie Andersen – A young and talented girl with strong running skills, who dares to dribble and create opportunities on her own.

#7 Sille Larsen – She is a strong defensive player who creates a solid backbone, but also facilitates good opportunities for her teammates.

#8 Sofia Frederiksen – A talented player with good technique and strong shot, who can play all positions in the field.

Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during the U19 WFC 2024?
Our extremely young team is very dedicated and has a great passion for the sport. During the preparation, we were able to play with foreign teams, and we tried to maximize our potential by learning from the matches. We hope that we can crown our joint work with a successful world championship.

#23 Fanni Farkas – Our youngster is a fast runner with a quick mind and hands. With her speed she is capable of changing the whole game.
Who is a leader on and off the field and why?
#4 Orsolya Gálfi – She is a leader on and off the field. Despite her young age she is an experienced player who can always bring the team to the next level.
Most skillful player?
#30 Hanna Szabó – Our goalkeeper is always on fire, never misses a beat of the game. With her saving skills she is able to help the team from behind and push them to their limits.

#42 Jázmin Kajtár – She represents ’fairfloorball’ as she pays attention to play by the rules but also admits if she makes a mistake. She always shows respect to her opponents and the referees as well.

A young team with positive spirit knowing that they can challenge anyone, regardless of the ranking.

#27 Belen Lara Acosta – Playing with great technical skills and the right mindset, despite her young age she has already become an important cornerstone for the team.

#9 Marta Pelliccioni – The leader of the team, always ready to help and encourage the others to overcome any obstacle.
Most skillful player?
#25 Chiara Taini – Gifted with individual skills and knowing how to score she already showed her capabilities at the Qualifications in France.

#6 Sira Raimann – Great technique and athletic performance, she never gives in and she always fights for the others, always with great respect for the sport and for the opponents.

#13 Briesis (Bri) Hunter – Bri started playing floorball recently and showed a natural talent for the game. Her ability to find the open space on the floor creates offensive opportunities for the whole team.

#7 Sophie Pomeroy -Sophie is a leader on and off the court as a return player and a member of the Senior Women’s Team. Her work ethic and commitment to the team is a steady driving force of motivation for the team.

#20 Shirin Laubli – Shirin has all the tools of a successful skillful player. Her knowledge of the game along with her speed makes her a threat from any spot on the floor.

#8 Kayleigh Garrison – Kayleigh has always demonstrated #FairFloorball as a welcoming teammate and a respectful opponent. She is a strong leader for how to treat others with kindness and understanding.
