IBF Falun secure their ticket to Floorball Champions Cup 2024 final after beating Storvreta IBK in the second semi-final.
As the first semi-final between these teams ended in a draw, it was clear that the second match would be even as both teams were hungry for the spot in the final. And it was as expected. Falun scored, Storvreta equalised, Storvreta scored, Falun equalised. This went on until the end of regular time. When there was no deciding goal during the 10-minute extra time, it was time for the penalty shots. As Falun’s Emil Nilsen and Emil Kalentum scored one each and Storvreta did not manage to score any, Falun secured their ticket to the final.

Falun’s opponent will be known on Saturday 2nd December when Tatran Střešovice and SV Wiler-Ersigen meet at 17:00 CET in their second semi-final. Also their previous meeting ended in a draw so on Saturday, winner takes it all. After that match, all teams in the final are known.
