The Floorball Fit For Future (4F) Erasmus+ project has taken the next steps.

The Erasmus+ project Floorball Fit for Future had its latest meeting from the 12th to the 14th of May in Madrid. The project has been concentrating on a federation development matrix. The objective was that the participating associations would make the evaluation of their own associations based on the matrix and that work has now been completed. The next step will be to create a handbook to help the associations with their future work.

— It was very interesting to see how the participating associations actually evaluated themselves. The rest of the participants then helped the associations to define what activities should they start to work with and there were different important aspects for different associations, says Mr. Veli Halonen, the IFF Operations Manager and IFF representative in the project.

— Maybe the associations were somewhat too strict on themselves and were a bit ahead in development compared to what they thought, but that is quite natural when evaluating your own status, he concludes.

The project is led by Czech Floorball and the participating Floorball federations are Denmark, Finland, Germany, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
