The seventh IFF Central Board (CB) meeting of the year took place on Friday 11th November in conjunction with the Men’s World Floorball Championships in Zurich, Switzerland.
Several topics such as upcoming events were discussed by the CB in their latest meeting. The meeting minutes have already been published here.

Champions Cup 2023
The preparations of the Champions Cup 2023 to be played in Finland, 7th– 8th January 2023 in the Bläk Boks Arena in Ideapark shopping centre in Lempäälä are ongoing. The ticket sales has already started and the marketing will start after the WFC. The LOC has decided to stream all the matches for the Finnish market on the Finnish Federation’s own TV channel Salibandy.TV, with Finnish commentary. IFF will stream the matches on IFF Media Platform Sportswik, with English commentary.
Women’s WFCQ 2023
The WFCQs will be played in Latvia (Koceni) and Italy (Lignano Sabbiadoro) 31st January – 4th February 2023, in Thailand (Chonburi) with the preliminary dates set for 31st January – 5th February 2023 and in Canada (Toronto, ON) 25th-26th February 2023.
U19 WFC 2023, WFCs 2025 and WFCs 2026
The ticket sale for Men’s U19 WFC 2023 has already started. The ballot is planned be held 30th November in Naestved, Denmark and a draft schedule will be produced after that and then finalised after the qualifications in Europe, Austria (Salzburg) and Spain (El Escorial) 24th-28th January 2023.
Due to elections in Czech Republic the bidding date for WFC 2025 has been postponed to March. For the adults WFC 2026 a reminder about this event was sent in October but as of now there is no interested organiser.
The IFF Central Board granted the Men’s U19 WFC 2025 to the Swiss Floorball Association and the Women’s U19 WFC 2026 to the Italian Floorball Federation. The CB further decided to prolong the bids for adults’ 2025 and 2026 and open the bid for the Women’s WFC 2027.
