The 10th Women’s U19 World Floorball Championships will be played in Katowice, Poland 31st August — 4th September. Australia, Latvia, Denmark and Austria are playing in Group D.
Australia
Short description of your team and aims at the WU19 WFC 2022?
Due to missing the 2020 WU19 WFC, our team is primarily comprised of new players making their debut on the international stage. We have some more experienced players who played in 2018 who will help stabilise the squad. Our aims are to ensure that we cultivate a positive vibe within the team, develop ourselves as individuals and as a unit, and fight as hard as we can to see where it takes us.

Rookie or young player to look out for on your team and why?
Millie Justice – A rookie with a good sense of anticipation and the effort to convert pressure into turnovers.
Who is a leader on and off the field and why?
Alexis Elliot – Diligent and proactive about her own development and the development of her teammates. She is the first to show up and the last to leave.
Most skilful player?
Cara Horn – A veteran of the 2018 campaign. She has sound positioning in the net and the reflexes to back it up
Which player demonstrates #FairFloorball the best and why?
Kaitlyn Willson – She is a pillar for the culture of positivity and inclusiveness that we are cultivating within the team. She is always there for her teammates.
Latvia
Short description of your team and aims at the WU19 WFC 2022?
Our team is young, but despite that a lot of players already have international experience from previous adult and U19 World Championships. In this championship our aim is to show our fighting spirit in every game and get as many victories as we can.

Rookie or young player to look out for on your team and why?
Marta Drille – player with great individual floorball technique who likes to play one against one.
Who is a leader on and off the field and why?
Our team captain Samanta Bērziņa – fast, aggressive and tough defender who also likes to be a big part of the offensive game. Despite her age, Samanta has great international floorball experience. Her experience, love for the sport and leaderhip skills are important for team also off the field.
Most skilful player?
Aurēlija Zariņa – forward with great shot and willingness to score.
Which player demonstrates #FairFloorball the best and why?
Luīze Raseiceva – hard working player with high working ethics, always giving the best for the team in trainings and games.
Denmark
Short description of your team and aims at the WU19 WFC 2022?
A team with players who work hard and are constantly evolving. The unity is strong and aim for improving the current ranking.

One of our talented goalkeepers, who is confident and calm in the goal.

A strong player with a good overview, who plays well together with her teammates.

A really talented player with a good technique. She is a strong defender who also creates a lot of goals.

Always goes into each duel with fairness and with respect for her opponents.

Very young and unexperienced team with a lot of new players.
