The 10th Women’s U19 World Floorball Championships will be played in Katowice, Poland 31st August — 4th September. Sweden, Czech Republic, Norway and Slovakia are playing in Group B.
Sweden
Short description of your team and aims at the WU19 WFC 2022?
The team is a mix of players with different qualities. We will do everything we can to win the Championships.
Players to watch
Who is a leader on and off the field and why?
The captains Saga Emtell and Stina Johansson show the way and contribute to the good team spirit. They are also a good representatives for #FairFloorball.
Most skilful player?
It’s hard to pick just one, but keep an extra eye on Hanna Nordstrand, Kajsa Johansson, Cajsa Alm and Emma Heander.
Czech Republic
Short description of your team and aims at the WU19 WFC 2022?
Czech team – a team with a lot of individually great players who have very good skills which the team tries to use ideally in its game expression. The Czech team will want to play active, fast and forceful floorball that will be effective and successful.
Players to watch
Rookie or young player to look out for on your team and why?
Anna Brucháčková – a fast player, she has really good skills to control the ball and is great for an offensive play. She is not afraid of taking responsibility and is also a goal scorer.
Who is a leader on and off the field and why?
Vendula Maroszová – she was chosen as the best junior player of this season in the Czech Republic. Although she is young, she is one of the most experienced players in this team. She is a good leader and will be the captain at this WFC.
Most skilful player?
Michaela Mechlová – very universal player with good control of the ball, dangerous in shooting, strong in personal fights, also a smart player. Definitely one of the team leaders.
Which player demonstrates #Fairfloorball the best and why?
Kateřina Vachudová – one of the most experienced players, who motivates others and is supportive to them. She is always respectful to players both on and off the field and is solid, reliable player. Also another leader in the team.
Norway
Short description of your team and aims at the WU19 WFC 2022?
The roster is of course, younger athletes and the aim is to develope the whole group for the future championships.

Rookie or young player to look out for on your team and why?
Ingrid Næss has had a tremendous development the last year.
Who is a leader on and off the field and why?
Madeleine Tinholt is the captain and she is the leader off and on the field.
Most skilful player?
Ida Sundberg is the most skilful player.
Which player demonstrates #Fairfloorball the best and why?
Slovakia
Short description of your team and aims at the WU19 WFC 2022?
We want to present the play we practice and advance to the semifinals.

Rookie or young player to look out for on your team and why?
Sophia Sabolova – fast and clever player with experience from the Hyundai Extraliga.
Who is a leader on and off the field and why?
Linda Pudišová & Laura Chúpeková – both of them have already participated in two Women’s WFC and one WU19 WFC.
