We have evolved as a team during the pandemic.

What should we expect from your team during WFCQ 2022?

We want to be an attacking team that works with a lot of movement. You can expect that we first and foremost want to play a positive and attacking floorball and that we show how beautiful this sport is.

Hungary

What were the main developments steps in Floorball over the last few years? What major progress were you able to achieve?

The last years were difficult for everybody for sure with the Covid-19. In the Hungarian floorball the main success is that we have a good base for U19 and for the adult team. Stable staff next to the U19 team who work with enthusiasm. It means that the adult team can also be stable and can step forward in the future! In the Hungarian championship the top 3 teams can play tough, high speed international games with Austrian and Slovenian top teams. It is also a good chance for the future to bring the international level closer to the Hungarian teams.

What should we expect from your team during WFCQ 2022?

We had not so long time to prepare but the team is hungry for a good result! We go for the 3rd place to be there in the next World Championships!

Poland

What were the main developments steps in Floorball over the last few years? What major progress were you able to achieve?

Of course we had to cancel few camps what had a big impact on our team, which is really familiar. Our players want to meet each other as often as possible but due to pandemic it wasn’t so easy and possible.

What should we expect from your team during WFCQ 2022?

It’s not a secret that the target is to achieve promotion to the WFC but apart from that we want to make our lines feel more confident on the court. During WFCQ you can expect from Team Poland of course a great commitment to the game and not being satisfied with any other results than winning.

Belgium

What were the main developments steps in Floorball over the last few years? What major progress were you able to achieve?

During the various lockdowns the players took it upon themselves to become stronger individual players in order to contribute more to the teams they represent. Younger players were able to get some much needed experience during the U19 WFC. They are ready to step up on a higher level and contribute together with older players in the lineup.

What should we expect from your team during WFCQ 2022?

The Belgian team has become more disciplined with and without the ball. They are hungry to take the next steps during this qualification.

Over the last few years, the national team has been strengthened and made several steps forward. Especially new young players could be recruited. For the Mens WFCQ 2022, Liechtenstein is now for the first time in a position to select the squad from a wider pool of players.
