The Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS) is an advanced and proven bet monitoring system that has been independently assessed and verified by recognized experts in the field of sports betting and integrity. Now IFF signs a contract with Sportradar for two years.

Sportradar’s Integrity Services will through the Universal Fraud Detection System (UFDS) and qualified team of analysts monitor the global betting market for any irregular betting patterns in relation to IFF competitions and alert the federation of any suspected match-fixing. UFDS is a market-leading, proven and CAS endorsed bet monitoring system.

The competitions that will be monitored are:

  • Women’s World Championship
  • Men’s World Championship
  • Women’s U19 WFC
  • Men’s U19 WFC
  • Men’s Champions Cup
  • Men’s EuroFloorball Cup

We are excited to enter into this partnership with the IFF, especially during a period where we have witnessed integrity threats reaching an ever diversifying range of sports. A strong framework to protect the integrity of international Floorball will be provided through our UFDS, and we are pleased that the IFF have shown this commitment, particularly during a time of growth for the sport, which could lead to a risk of integrity threats in turn, explains Andreas Krannich, Sportradar Integrity Services Managing Director.

— The IFF is aware of the vast number of betting operators offering bets on IFF’s events and we feel it to be very important that we are aware of what goes on in regard to our sport. We need to safeguard our sport also in this field and strongly believe that the cooperation with Sportradar will help us in doing this, adds John Liljelund, IFF Secretary General.

About the Universial Fraud Detection System (UFDS) by Sportradar

The UFDS has been proven to initiate or support successful sporting and criminal proceedings around the world time and time again for over 15 years. This work has led to over 7,000 matches across global sport being detected and reported to integrity partners as suspicious. This in turn has played a pivotal role in the inception and support of cases which have led to the delivery of over 550 sporting sanctions and 50 criminal convictions around the world. Furthermore, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has in seven separate cases used evidence from the UFDS in support of its rulings. It is the only monitoring system to have successfully been used as conclusive evidence in front of the CAS. Some examples:

  • Monitoring the entire global betting market
The UFDS tracks more than 600 regulated and unregulated operators around the world. With over 30 billion odds changes monitored each year, suspicious patterns can be detected as they happen.
  • Expert analyExpert analysis
The tech sifts through millions of data points a day, but it’s the human touch that puts the UFDS ahead of the pack. The team of 50+ expert analysts investigate the context of every alert from our global hubs.
  • Global betting market intelligence
A bookmaking network of more than 80 global operators from over 30 countries reports unusual betting activity to the UFDS team.
