The 13th Men’s World Floorball Championships took place in Helsinki, Finland from 3rd – 11th of December 2021. 

WFC 2020 spectators & tickets

Total attendance in Helsinki was 71,361 spectators. There were most spectators, 22,877, during the final day 11th of December. A total of 27,297 tickets were sold to the event.

IFF acted as the host broadcaster for the Men’s WFC with YLE being the official broadcaster in Finland. In addition to the host broadcasters, the WFC matches were streamed for example in Canada (CBC), Singapore (Media Corp), USA (beIN), Slovakia (RTSV, Areena), Switzerland (SRF, RTS, TSI) and on Olympic Channel.

The IFF Office is still collecting the TV spectator figures from WFC 2020. The final match on YLE reached 1,109,000 people in Finland. The average minute rating was 457,000 for the final and there were a total of 318,000 starts on YLE Areena.
