The 13th Women’s World Floorball Championships (WFC) took place in Uppsala, Sweden from 27th November to 5th December 2021. Here are some of the figures from the event.

WFC 2021 spectators & tickets

Total attendance in Uppsala was 21 207 spectators. Most spectators, 4 702, during the final day 5th of December. A total of 4 883 tickets were sold to the event.

WFC 2021 on TV

IFF acted as the host broadcaster for the Women’s WFC with SVT being the official broadcaster in Sweden. In addition to the host broadcasters, the WFC matches were streamed for example in Africa (W Sport), Canada (CBC), Singapore (Media Corp), USA (beIN), Switzerland (SRF, RTS, TSI), NFFR (TV Star) and on Olympic Channel. The matches were shown live in over 14 countries.

The IFF Office is still collecting the TV spectator figures from both WFC events, but in Sweden the SVT broadcasts from the Women’s WFC had a total of 1,6 million viewers and reached a total of 4,6 million spectators. In addition, there was a total of 335.000 starts on SVT Play.
