Czech Men’s U19 team is one of The World Games Athlete/Team of the Year 2021 candidates. The first round of the online voting ends on Sunday 23rd of January when the ten candidates with most votes continue in the race.

Czech Men’s U19 team were successful in defending their gold medal at home WFC in Brno in 2021. Their second consecutive gold medal was also the second World Floorball Championships gold medal for Czech Floorball. Three Czech players were selected to the All-Star Team: Tomas Jurco (goalkeeper), Filip Forman (centre) and Matej Penicka (forward).

The first round of TWG Athlete/Team of the Year 2021 voting ends at 16:00 CET on 23rd of January. The ten candidates with most votes will continue in the race and they will keep the votes earned by then. Voting ends on Monday 31st of January at 14:00 CET and the winner and two runner-ups will be announced then. The winners will receive trophies and prizes from the official sponsor of The World Games Athlete of the Year, Protective Life.
