The Presidency of the NFFR has appointed Dmitrii Davydenko as a new head coach of the men’s national team.

Dmitrii Davydenko is a multiple champion and prizewinner within all the Championship from Russia, both as a player and as a coach.

Davydenko is now serving as head coach of “Irbis” from Kazan – debutant of the  National Floorball Championship 2021/2022.

Davydenko started his floorball career in 1997 as a player and manager in “Dvina” from Novodvinsk. With “Dvina” he became 1x Russian Champion in 1997 and 2x Bronze Medalist of Russian Championship in 1998 & 1999. In 2000 Dmitrii moved up to the Arkhangelsk City Audit Office team in the same role and became the national champion.

From 2001 to 2009 Davydenko played for “Pomor” from Arkhangelsk as a player. In “Pomor” he achieved the following results: 5х Russian Champion & 3x Russian Cup Winner. Then, in 2010 he transferred to “Arena” from Gatchina, Leningrad region as a player and manager. With “Arena” Dmitrii became 1x Silver Medalist and 1x Bronze Medalist of Russian Championship.

Davydenko retired in 2013 and became a children’s coach and had time to work in several regions of Russia with different teams. In June 2021 Dmitrii resumed work with adults and became manager of “Irbis” from Kazan.
