The Finnish Floorball Federation had their General Assembly on Saturday the 28th of November, electing a new Central Board (CB) for the next three-year term. Risto Kauppinen will continue as President of the CB with four new members.
Risto Kauppinen, had a worthy opponent in SaiPa Lappeenranta’s chair Ding Ma. Kauppinen was elected to continue after winning by votes 94-88. Mr. Kauppinen has also previously been a member of the IFF Central Board.

The following members were elected to the Finnish Floorball Federation Central Board: Ms. Kaarina Vuori (from Espoo, new & current IFF CB member), Mr. Mikko Kohonen (Jyväskylä), Mr. Timo Lyytinen (Kuopio), Ms. Arja Kilpeläinen (Espoo), Mr. Juuso Laamanen (Tampere), Mr. Harri Karjala (Seinäjoki, new), Mr. Janne Heikkinen (Oulu, new) and Mr. Olli Lähdesmäki (Helsinki, new).

Other decisions of the General Assembly were the nominations of the Council and Appellate committees, approving the federation’s updated Strategy for 2026 and certain updates of the constitution as well as the approving of the budget of EUR 12.8 million and the plan of action for 2021.
