After a big wave of Czech players’ transfers, it is time for Swiss Transfer Bomb! Manuel Engel, 27, is transferring to his home country after 5 years in the Swedish Växjö Vipers. 

After 5 years in jersey of Växjö Vipers, the 27-year-old Swiss national team forward will begin his journey in NLA (Swiss highest league) with Floorball Köniz where he will join his national team colleague Manuel Maurer. Engel scored a total of 70 goals for Växjö in SSL since he came in 2015 from the Swiss Tigers Langnau. The 27-year-old has an enormous CV with three WFC bronze medals, two gained with Swiss Men’s team and one with Men’s U19 team. Engel is the longest playing Swiss player in SSL, together with Marc Dysli who also spent 5 seasons in SSL.
