Singapore will host the Women’s World Floorball Championships Asia-Oceania Qualifications from 18th — 22nd March. Three best teams will qualify for WFC 2025 and two best teams will secure their spot in The World Games 2025. The hosts, Australia, Philippines and Korea are playing in Group B.
Singapore
Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during WFCQ 2025?
Underdog with sheer determination and willingness to work hard for one another even if the results not in our favour to us. The team has the ability to overcome obstacles and challenges especially playing against teams that are higher ranked.

Who is your most dangerous attacker and why?
#7 Nasha Jeffri – Game changer with strong character and love pushing to limits – with her speed and ability to make swift decisions, she can create a lot of problems for oppositions.
Who is your strongest defender and why?
#73 Jie Ying Lim – She is able to anticipate opponents movements and communicates with her teammates well on court.
Who is your toughest player and why?
#26 Wen Xin Foo – Even if she gets knocked down, she gets back on her feet fast.

Australia
Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during WFCQ 2025?
We are a transitional team, with a couple of players having played in well over 10 tournaments for Australia, but the majority of the team either on debut or having played only a couple of tournaments. It’s an exciting mix of experience and up and coming floorballers who are dynamic and will lead the team in the future.

#88 Katie Wright – She is fast, has good ball control and delivers powerful shots.
Who is your strongest defender and why?
#9 Vanessa Austin – She is embodiment of the modern defender. She controls the defence and repeatedly gets involved in the attack with her dangerous rushes.
Who is your toughest player and why?
#12 Sarah Guilfoyle – Her physicality and endurance are at top level.
Which player demonstrates #FairFloorball the best and why?
#23 Hayley Cole – On and off the field she is always there to support her teammates, is humble and is a strong advocate for women and girls in sport.
Philippines
Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during WFCQ 2025?
We have a great team with a mixture of experienced, and new players. They never back down to a challenge and we can expect them to give it their all on the field. The fans can expect lots of “Laban”-spirit and the players’ passion for the game will show – as well as their hearts, both on and off the pitch.

Who is your most dangerous attacker and why?
#3 Keziah Espidillon – She’s always a threat in the offensive zone and she can guarantee hard work. She’s fast as a snake when the ball is loose, both on surface and in the air.
Who is your strongest defender and why?
#71 Sara Hemminberg – Sara always gives 100%, both with and without the ball. But when the opponents have the ball, they need to be ready otherwise she will do her best to disarm you!
Who is your toughest player and why?
#31 Imma Cruzado – Even though she looks small and timid she’s the opposite. Her young charisma and highly skilled floorballing is a nightmare for any opponent. She rarely loses 1 v 1, because of determination and skills!
Which player demonstrates #FairFloorball the best and why?
#89 Jade Ariadne Rivera – The captain of the team is also the player you can rely on – both on and off the court. If you google sportsmanship, don’t get surprised if you find Jade Rivera.
Korea
Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during WFCQ 2025?
A team consisting of some experienced players and many debutants. Aiming for a positive tournament and to get some good results.

Who is your most dangerous attacker and why?
#48 Kim Ran is a threat in the final third with quick moves and good scoring ability.
Who is your strongest defender and why?
#1 Ahn Yeong Hwa, our goalkeeper is the key to us playing good defense, with solid play and unexpected saves.
Who is your toughest player and why?
#11 Maeng Ji Yul is our captain and leads the team by example, always giving maximum effort while playing tough but fair.

#9 Kim Sae Hee has great energy and always brings a positive attitude both off and on the court.
