The IFF Strategy Task Force prepared a proposal for the IFF Strategy for the period 2021 – 2032, which the IFF Central Board (CB) approved, with some minor changes in its meeting yesterday.

The IFF has now sent the first draft proposal for the IFF Strategy – Strengthening the Foundations for the 1st commentary round to the IFF Member Associations, the IFF Committees and Commissions, the IFF Staff and other IFF Stakeholders. The IFF will collect the strategy feedback during May and June.

The IFF will also provide a web-based tool and collect feedback from all stakeholders, especially about the Targets and Key Performance Indicators defined in the strategy. The draft strategy and the feedback tool will be published on the IFF website during the upcoming weeks.

– The Strategy proposal contains a number of  Targets and Key Performance Indicators and in order to define which of these are the most important ones, we will invite all our stakeholders to rank these based on importance. IFF will in the coming weeks provide launch a web-based tool, so that all interested parties can provide these rankings to the IFF, the IFF Secretary General John Liljelund informs.

The aim with the strategy process is to create a more operational strategy for the whole floorball community. The focus is on setting the future direction for the IFF and to specify the main objectives that are needed in order to grow and develop the sport on the local, national and international level.

The IFF ExCo acts as a Steering Group for the process keeping it on track. The Task Force will make two preliminary submissions to the floorball community, with the first version to be sent out in April-May 2020 and the second in August in 2020. The IFF CB will then prepare the final version of the IFF Strategy for the IFF General Assembly by the end of September 2020.
