The 12th Women’s World Floorball Championships was organised in Neuchatel, Switzerland December 7th – 15th of 2019 and a new Women’s total attendance record was reached in Neuchâtel. Here are some of the great achievements reached during the WFC 2019.
WFC 2019 spectators
New Women’s WFC total attendance record: 44 513 (the previous total attendance record was 43 806 spectators from the Women’s WFC in 2013, in Brno and Ostrava, Czech Republic). The final day in Neuchâtel was also sold out.

A total of 16 742 tickets were sold to the WFC 2019.
WFC 2019 on TV
IFF acted as the host broadcaster for the Women’s WFC 2019, with the Swiss TV SRF as the official broadcaster for the Event in Switzerland.
A record number of 41 matches were televised out of the 48 WFC matches played. In total, there were 131 televised matches from the WFC 2019 and this was also a new record. Matches were shown live in 13 countries. In addition to Swiss TV (SRF (German), CHRTS (French) and RSI (Italian)), WFC matches were on TV in 12 countries; i.e. China (Beijing TV), Czech TV, Finland (YLE), Germany (Sportdeutchland.tv), Indonesia (UseeTV), Latvia (LTV7 and Sportcentre TV), Malaysia (Astro), Singapore (Starhub TV), Slovakia (RSTV and ArenaTV), Sweden (Discovery/Eurosport), Ukraine (Pershyi TV) and Thailand True Vision) and the Olympic Channel.
The IFF has not yet received all TV numbers, but based on the information received from CZE, FIN, SUI and SWE the final had 1,5 million viewers and the bronze match 491 000 viewers. According to the current statistics the live TV matches were seen by 7,6 million viewers
