After the first round of the men’s semi-finals in Sweden, Storvreta and Falun are leading their series 1-0. Tomorrow it is time for the first women’s semi-final match.

Men’s semi-finals

Storvreta won the first semi-final match against Dalen on overtime 7-6, Jimmie Pettersson scoring the decisive goal. In the other semi-final pair Falun won the first battle against Mullsjö 5-3,  Omar Aldeeb scoring two of Falun’s goals.

Dalen and Storvreta play their second match today and Mullsjö will face Falun again tomorrow. Four victories are needed to advance to the Superfinal.

 

Women’s semi-finals

No surprises were seen in the women’s quarter-finals and the highest ranked teams continue to the semi-finals. The semi-final pairs are IKSU-Täby and Mora-Pixbo. The first semi-final match, IKSU vs. Täby, is played tomorrow and Mora vs. Pixbo start their semi-final serie on Friday.

The women’s semi-finals are played with a best of five playing system.
