The regular seasons are over in the Men’s and Women’s leagues in Germany and after the German Cup finals, it is time to focus on the Bundesliga play-offs.
Men’s play-offs
In the Men’s Bundesliga, last season’s champion UHC Sparkasse Weißenfels, was the winner with 50 points. MFBC Leipzig got the second place with 47 points. Weißenfels and Leipzig got a direct qualification to the semi-finals. The teams placed 3rd-6th will play the play-offs and the winners go on to the semi-finals. Two teams on the bottom will play the play-outs. For Bat Berlin and VgL Red Hocks Kaufering, the season is over.
The play-offs and play-out will be played with best of three system. The first matches were played last weekend and ETV Piranhas Hamburg won the match against TV-Lilienthal 4-2. In the other semi-final pair, Red Devils Wernigerode beat DJK Holzbüttgen 7-2. The decisive matches are played during the weekend (23.3. and 24.3., if needed).

DJK Holzbüttgen – Red Devils Wernigerode (0-1 in matches)

Floor Fighters Chemnitz – Blau-Weiß 96 Schenefeld
Women’s play-offs
In the Women’s Bundesliga the last regular season matches were played last weekend. The German Cup winner MFBC Grimma also won the regular season four points ahead of UHC Sparkasse Weißenfels. The four best teams made it to the play-offs that are played with a best of three system and the first matches are played on Saturday (23.3.)
