The best teams from the Swiss league will play against each other in the Superfinal next spring. The final takes place 27th of April 2019 in Swiss Arena Kloten.

Before the start of the national leagues, the Unihockey Supercup will be played on Saturday 8th. The Men´s cupfinal is played between Floorball Köniz and SV Wiler-Ersigen. Piranha Chur and Kloten-Dietlikon Jets are playing in the Women´s final.

The first round of the Swiss Men´s league starts on Sunday 9th. All 12 teams will play their first games then and the second round will follow on Saturday 15th September. Last year´s champion Floorball Köniz is defending its championship title, although it has gone through some changes in the transfer markets. Manuel Maurer transferred to Sweden for this season, but Köniz also got players from abroad. For example, Tuomas Iiskola and Jonne Junkkarinen are strengthening the Köniz team for the upcoming season.

The Women´s league will start on Saturday 15th September and 10 teams are playing for the trophy this season.  Piranha Chur won both, the Supercup and Superfinal last season and the team has also gone through some changes before the start of the season. Interesting names on the 2018 Transfer List are Sanni Nieminen, Margrit Scheidegger and Geraldine Rossier who all transferred to Piranha Chur for this season.
