Classic have played impressively in the both the Men´s and Women´s Salibandyliiga in Finland. The Men´s play-offs have already began and Women´s will begin this week.
In the Men’s Salibandyliiga the reigning champions Classic dominated the regular season. They only lost one match and even that was on overtime, furthermore they scored over 200 goals within 26 matches which lead to a superior goal difference +104. 12 points behind Classic are Nokian KrP with 39 points. EräViikingit and Happee also won the home advantage as the third and fourth placed teams.
SalBa came last with 12 points and will relegate to the first division. The other bottom three teams, Seelers and Koovee will face play-outs. For team 9-11 the season has ended.

The play-offs are played with a best of seven system. The first matches were already played last week and at the moment Classic are the only team with two victories. The other play-off pairs are tied.
Classic also won the regular season in the Women’s Salibandyliiga. Similar to the men’s team, also the women’s Classic were effective by scoring 150 goals within 18 matches. SB-Pro and PSS both had 28 points after the regular season. EräViikingit and Koovee battled for the fourth place and home advantage in their last regular season match and in the end EräViikingit were stronger by one goal.
NST, who won the championships in 2015-16, barely made it to the play-offs with 7 points. With only one point behind them, ÅIF together with O2-Jyväskylä will battle in the play-outs against first division teams. As the Women’s Salibandyliiga was only ten teams this season, the top eight will play play-offs and the rest will face play-outs.
