The IFF has joined the European Sponsorship Association in order to develop its sponsorship work and to gain more opportunities for the sport.

International Floorball Federation (IFF) has joined the European Sponsorship Association (ESA). Whilst the sport of floorball is growing fast in terms of players, member associations and fans this also puts pressure on the organization of IFF. On the other hand the growth presents a big opportunity to attract more sponsors to gain further assets to meet growing needs of the diverse membership base of the IFF. In order to accelerate the process of attracting new partnerships and strengthening the in-house know-how it was decided to apply for the ESA membership.

– For us this is a natural step on our path in developing our sponsorship work. The decision was easy because our integrity values are much similar to the ones with ESA (Code of Conduct). We also want to enforce the message that we are dedicated to professionalism and strive for self-development. I´m looking forward to lively and fruitful conversations with sponsorship professionals especially on value-based sponsoring and social media strategies, states Sales Coordinator Tero Kalsta from the IFF.

Through its membership the IFF gains access to a network of established sponsorship professionals as well as latest research material. ESA also offers educational programs for sponsorship professionals and arranges events for networking.
