Finnish national team player Nico Salo will transfer to a Swedish top league (SSL) team FC Helsingborg.
Nico Salo is currently playing with the reigning Finnish champion Classic. 23-year-old Salo has scored 88 (41+47) points in the 120 Finnish league matches he has played. He was also part of the Finnish national team in December, when the Finns celebrated their WFC victory Next season the talented centre will play for the SSL team FC Helsinborg:
– I have dreamed of playing against the best players of the SSL. This is going to be an exciting challenge for me, and Helsingborg is a professional club, Salo comments.
Salo isn’t the only Finnish player in FC Helsingborg. The team has Mika Kohonen, Jami Manninen and Juha Kivilehto who is also the club manager. Also the head coach of the team is Finnish Mika Ahonen, who has also coached the Finnish Men’s national team in the past.
