Swedish Floorball has since 2012 consciously worked towards getting more media visibility. And this season floorball has again gained more visibility both on television and in newspapers.
Each season Sponsor Insight measures the visibility of floorball in the Swedish media in terms of number of reports on television, articles in print magazines and online newspapers as well as images in print magazines and online newspapers. The numbers have improved each season and the past season was no exception.
This season´s numbers from September 2015 until the end of April 2016:
TV features: 46% increase 565 this year (388 last year)
Pictures print: 10% increase 1913 this year (1733 last year)
Articles print: 5% increase 1756 this year (1673 last year)
Images Web: 21% increase 1792 this year (1477 last year)
Increase since 2011/12 (September – April):
TV features: 143%
Images print: 47%
Articles print: 29%
Images Web: 78% *
