Classic won the men’s regular season in Finland and got to choose their quarter-final opponent first from the teams placed 5th-8th.

The men’s regular season is over in Finland. Classic (photo above) took a clear first place with 48 points. They only lost two matches during the whole season. Happee finished second with 39 points and Oilers was right behind with one point less. Viikingit (former SSV) came fourth with 35 points and the reigning champion, SPV (photo on right),was sixth with 28 points.

OLS and Indians were battling for the last play-off place and ended up with the same amount of points. But OLS has a better goal difference and made it to the quarter-finals. Nokian KrP and SalBa are facing the play-downs. NST came last with ten points and will be relegated to the first division.

The quarter-finals will be played with a best of seven system. The first matches are played 9.3.

Viikingit – SPV

The Superfinal is organised for the first time in Finland. It will be played in Hartwall Arena, Helsinki 16.4.
