First Floorball development center in Indonesia

In the end of January there were Floorball workshops organised in the University of Pelita Harapan and in SMAK Penabur Gading Serpung, where Indonesia´s first Floorball development center was established.

On the 19th – 20th of January there were 50 students present in the workshops in the University of Pelita Harapan. In addition the senior minister of public Welfare, the representative of the minister from education and the chairman of the Indonesian National Sport Committee (KONI)/Indonesian Olympic Committee (KOI) were present in the Floorball event.

During the Floorball workshop in the SMAK Penabur Gading Serpong, which was lauched as the first floorball development center in Indonesia, the Ambassador of Sweden and the vice chairman of KONI/KOI as well as the chairman of the Swedish business association were present. There were 35 PE teachers and 60 students from 25 schools participating in the Floorball event in SMAK.

Floorball Presentations in Universities

The Indonesian Floorball Association (IFA) will now present Floorball to the 14 universities in Indonesia who have a sport faculty, with the target that they will include Floorball into their curricula.
