Flooball as its best and an amazing feeling in the bronze match when Switzerland and Czech Republic played in front of 13 211 spectors.

Simon Stucki became the hero of the match as he scored the winning over time goal for Switzerland.

Christoph Hofbauer scored the only goal of the first period as Czech Republic´s inability to score seemed to continue as many of the shots were off target.

The crowd got very upset when Ales Zálesný got a 2 minutes penalty in 29.40, but Tomas Kafka in the goal made some brilliant saves and kept his team in the game. With one minute left of the second period Radek Sikora could hit a bouncing rebound ball, 1-1, and the crowd roared with delight.

Sikora´s celebration, when running slalom through the Swiss players´ bench, was not that wise as it resulted in a 2+10 penalty for unsportsmanlike behaviour and a power play goal for the Swiss.

Switzerland could get into a two goal lead in 47.55 and the Czechs were in trouble. The Czech fans however continued to cheer for their team and it almost seemed as if they became the sixth Czech player on the field.

The Czech teams started to play much more aggressive and the Swiss defenders made horrible mistakes in their own zone. Three goals in a row put the Czechs in the lead for the first time in 57.27 and the fans went wild. But only 20 seconds later Matthias Hofbauer silenced the arena by evening the score.

More careful play during over time, the Czechs pressuring more and the Swiss looking for opponent´s mistakes. In 69.02 the Swiss could benefit from a ball loss and a fast counter attack resulted in Simon Stucki´s sudden death goal and a 5-4 victory for Switzerland.

Radek Sikora and Emanuel Antener were awarded as best players.
