The nation rankings for the next year´s EuroFloorball Cup has been calculated. The rankings are based on standings in the three previous EuroFloorball Cup tournaments.

The Final Round of EuroFloorball Cup 2009 will be played in Denmark in October 2009. Before the Final Round, there will be three qualification tournaments. In the Regional Qualifications, EFCQ East and EFCQ West, the national champions, which are not directly qualified, will play for two Final Round spots. The third Final Round spot will be decided between the second best teams from the top four countries (EFCQ Top4).
If correctly registered, directly qualified to the Men´s EFC Final Round are:
AIK (Reigning Champion), the Champions of Sweden, Finland, Switzerland and Denmark (Organiser)
If correctly registered, directly qualified to the Women´s EFC Final Round are:
IKSU (Reigning Champion), the Champions of Switzerland, Sweden, Czech Republic and Denmark (Organiser).

QA= Qualified team from EFCQ Top4, Q1= Higher ranked qualified team from EFCQ East/West, Q2= Lower ranked qualified team from EFCQ East/West
These are the preliminary groups and they will be changed if the reigning EFC Champions (AIK Men or IKSU Women) will win their national championships. Then the Swedish champion will be the same as the Reigning EFC Champion and there will be one more spot open for direct qualification. This spot will go to the 4th placed nation in the above EFC ranking (Men: National Champion of Czech Republic and Women: Finnish National Champion).
