Ms Kaarina Salomaa, 24, has been elected as the new Competition Assistant to the IFF Head office in Helsinki, Finland. She will start working for the IFF in the beginning of July 2008.
At the moment Ms Salomaa is studying Biosciences in the University of Helsinki and has been working in the world´s largest Floorball center, Arena Center, in Helsinki.
Ms Salomaa has gained experience of international Floorball events as a player, team manager and as the local organiser. Ms Salomaa has been the team manager of the Finnish WU19 team for six years and she also worked as the tournament assistant in the EuroFloorball Cup 2007-2008 organising committee.
In the IFF office Ms Salomaa will work closely with the IFF Competition Manager and with the teams participating in the IFF events and other competition related work. IFF wishes Ms Salomaa warmly welcome to the Office.
In addition, Ms Katriina Sahala, has now started working at the IFF Office and is responsible for the administration of the office and the IFF Referee Committee. Ms Sahala also works closely with the IFF member associations.
