The Swedish Floorball Federation was founded the 7th of November 1981 and is today celebrating its 25th anniversary.

During this phase of Swedish sports history, Floorball has grown to be the next biggest sport in Sweden after Football, considering players on a competing level. Today Floorball has over 130 000 licensed players in Sweden and the average attendance in the Men’s league in Sweden is 1000, which shows that Floorball is also in the favour of spectators.

More statistics about floorball development and other information can be read from the Swedish federation’s anniversary website.
