Japan won both the Men´s and the Women´s final of the Asian Pacific Floorball Championship (APAC) defeating Singapore twice 3-2. APAC was played December 8-12, 2004 – Australia, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore participated. “I consider the first ever big tournament organized in Asia and Oceania a huge step for the floorball development in the region. Our host, the Singapore Floorball Association has shown that it leads the development in the region and takes a tremendous responsibility by hosting this event. It was also a good test for the organizer before we all go to Singapore for the first ever outside Europe organized World Floorball Championships”, says the IFF President Tomas Eriksson.
