The summit concerning the floorball development in Asia and Oceania, held during the APAC in Singapore, reached on December 11 an agreement to form the Confederation of the Asian and Oceanian Floorball Associations. The four present Associations – Australia, Japan, Malaysia and Singapore agreed upon to organize the founding assembly during the Women´s World Championships 2005 (Singapore 28.05-05.06). The IFF President Tomas Eriksson considers this step a milestone in the building up of floorball internationally and strengthening and stressing the importance of the Associations in Asia and Oceania.
