The Women’s 2025 World Floorball Championships Qualifications continue with the EUR2 event in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy on Wednesday 29th January. Eight teams are divided into two groups of four – Switzerland, Denmark, Hungary & Netherlands are playing in Group C with Slovakia, Poland, Italy & France playing in Group D.

Slovakia

Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during WFCQ 2025?

Very young but still ambitious team with the goal to win every group game and show strong performance worth our world ranking. We might as well be trying new things or players at this phase before the World Games too.

Who is your most dangerous attacker and why?

#88 Kristína Hudakova – Typical killer, most of her attacks end up in the net.

 

 

Who is your strongest defender and why?

#26 Jana TroskovaOne of our most experienced players.

 

 

 

Who is your toughest player and why?

#12 Katarina Klapitova– Even if she is not so tall, she has an amazing fighting spirit.

#30 Paulína Hudakova – Most skillful player on the team.

 

 

 

 

Poland

Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during WFCQ 2025?

Poland is a team made up of players who are very experienced but also young players who give the team freshness. Thanks to this combination, it is a team that fights until the end and does not give up.

Who is your most dangerous attacker and why?

#19 Dominika Buczek – Dominika plays in the SSL, the best league in the world. She used to be one of the best players in the Czech league. She has a very good technique and a great shot, thanks to which she scores a lot of goals.

 

Who is your strongest defender and why?

#23 Daria DrzymałaDaria plays in the very strong Czech league. She is very fast and aggressive. She has a lot of experience, having already played in three Women’s World Championships.

 

Who is your toughest player and why?

#77 Zuzanna Krzywak – Zuza is a very fast and relentless player. She gives 100% in every match.

Italy

Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during WFCQ 2025?

Tactically well-drilled team that work as a unit and as a team to win together. A group with focus on the performance and not the consequences of it. They come well prepared to give all they have, they will be present in the moment, love the situation and have fun!

Who is your most dangerous attacker and why?

#5 Daria Leu – Our captain. She is a very complete player, strong defensively and offensively, strong mentally and a good finisher.

Our goalkeepers who are the important players in defending the goal.

Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during WFCQ 2025?

The French team is coming with an experienced group of players after the last WFC 2023 successful adventure. They really want to reach WFC 2025. They’ve worked hard to go further with a new staff and they look forward to improve it in the next steps!

Who is your most dangerous attacker and why?

#77 Marine KlopfensteinShe is hungry to score and will show it! Physically agile and mentally strong, she is a leader on the field by doing her best!

 

 

Who is your strongest defender and why?

#22 Sandie Masi Is one of the most experienced player of the team. She is like the control tower of the defense. Her calmness and precision are building team confidence.

 

 

Who is your toughest player and why?

#7 Pauline BuicheIs an active wall and nobody want to hurt against her. She is ready for the impact, as well as she will never give her opponent time or space.

 

 

Who is your face-off champion?

#19 Chloé VuagniauxShe likes to score and has found that the shortest way to come in a shooting position is first to get the ball at the face-off. There is no easy win against her.
