The 18th IFF General Assembly (GA) was held on Saturday, 14th December 2024 at Malmö Arena Hotel in Malmö, Sweden.
The General Assembly was opened at 08.30 and the participants were welcomed. 32 ordinary Member Associations and two provisional members were present in the GA.

Mr Tomas Eriksson has been appointed as the IFF Honorary President.
International calendar & New Event Structure
A further update of the proposed international calendar changes was presented to the GA. This proposal will be discussed by the new IFF Central Board at their first meeting in February and another round of feedback will be sought from the Member Associations before any further steps are taken.
The World Games 2025
A total of 16 teams will take part in The World Games in Chengdu, China. Floorball competition will be played in Xindu Xiangcheng Sports Center, over 8 days of competitions from 6th—13th August. On the Women’s side, two best teams from the AOFC 2025 Qualifications will qualify and on the Men’s side, the fifth placed team at WFC 2024 will secure the final spot for TWG.
Strategy Implementation
At the GA, the IFF Strategy Update was provided considering the first four years (2020-2024) and the next four years (2025-2029). Some highlights from the Strategy work were introduced in the areas of Closing the gap, More TV time & Utilising Media, Sustainability and Versions of the Game – 3v3.

Men’s U19 WFC 2025
29th April — 4th May 2025 in Zurich, Switzerland. The 3v3 WFC will be played on the 2nd and 3rd May 2025 in the AXA-Arena and AXA-Tennisarena in Winterthur. Visit the official U19 WFC 2025 event website here.
