The 15th Men’s World Floorball Championships will take place from 7th — 15th December in Malmö, Sweden. Defending champions and hosts Sweden and 2022 bronze medalists Finland are accompanied by Latvia and Slovakia in Group B.
Sweden
Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during WFC 2024?
We are a super tight group that will do anything for each other. We have the best skillful players of the game and we will do anything to win. We have a strong mentality and hopefully we will manage the pressure of being two times World Champions (the last two) and a home event.

Who is your most dangerous attacker and why?
#10 Albin Sjögren is one of the best finishers in the world. His focus for the net is unbelivable and can change his shot like he wants depending where the goalie is.
Who is your strongest defender and why?
#28 Niklas Ramirez is probably the fastest player in the world. That together with his strength and size is amazing to watch. No one gets under his skin.
Who is your toughest player and why?
#19 Jesper Sankell is so strong and has a mindset of never losing a duel, and he most often doesn’t. He is strong, fast and has a beautiful fighting spirit.
Who is your face-off champion?
#7 Rasmus Enström wins 84% of his face-offs. Skilled face-off guy on both backhand and forehand.
Finland
Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during WFC 2024?
Team with lots of skill and ability to play attractive floorball.

Who is your most dangerous attacker and why?
#73 Justus Kainulainen. His shooting is out of this world.
Who is your strongest defender and why?
#81 Otto Lehkosuo. Reads the game well and intercepts many passes with his stick.
Who is your toughest player and why?
#22 Eemeli Akola. Fights like a pitbull and never gives up.

Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during WFC 2024?
We are proud to represent Latvia and ready to compete against all the opponents. The team is a great mix of long-serving veterans and energetic youngsters.

Who is your most dangerous attacker and why?
#88 Roland Kovalevskis is one of the best players in Elvi Floorball League, he is known for his dribbling, scoring qualities and speed.
Who is your strongest defender and why?
#4 Morics Krumins is considered as one of the best Latvian defenders of all time. He has played several successful seasons abroad and leads his unit with elegance.
Who is your toughest player and why?
#19 Toms Akmenlauks is tough as a stone both mentally and physically. He wins most battles playing hard and fair.
Who is your face-off champion?
#21 Artis Raitums is the face-off champion and most experienced player in the team.
Slovakia
Describe your team, and what should we expect from your team during WFC 2024?
Silent killers, a strong team spirit and determination to win big matches. You can expect better and more stable performances compared to the previous WFC.

Definitely #4 Michal Dudovic. In short, he is like Lionel Messi in Floorball.
Who is your strongest defender and why?
#27 Michal Pažák. One of the most experienced players with great insight
into the game.
Who is your toughest player and why?
Toughest player is definitely #21 Kristian Kozak. Players don’t want to tackle with him in corners.
